It is our great honour to present the private General Surgical Clinic “GENESIS ATHENS”, which, although operating just since late 2004, has already made a difference in the sensitive industry of health. It is a modern Clinic, equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, staffed with Greece’s top medical scientists, and is acknowledged in Greece and worldwide for its scientific projects, collaborations and research protocols with Clinics in Europe and Australia.
The driving force of this overall effort was simply our intention to satisfy the needs for highly specialised services and “one-day clinic” surgical techniques in Greece. Our Clinic has surgical, gynaecological, and plastic surgery departments. Our ultramodern operation rooms, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, ensure complete safety in the provision of medical services. Our aim is to provide medical assistance not only to women, but also to men and couples with fertility problems. Therefore, we have developed a leading unit for medically assisted reproduction in Greece, fully accredited according to ISO 90001:2000, whose embryology-fertilization laboratory achieves the best results per attempt. This is why our unit receives individuals and couples from all over the world. Infertility is no longer a taboo; it should be treated dynamically, with the best treatment, requiring flexible, customised technologies to optimize the results for each individual. With a view to provide a full range of services to our patients, we have medical imaging laboratories with state-of-the-art instrumentation. We perform X-ray radioscopy and radiographs, we use an advanced mammograph, and a 3D ultrasound scanner for general and gynaecological ultrasound scans. The scientific and technological advances in this field have now made it possible to obtain a 3D image of the embryo in the uterus and we are very pleased to offer this unique experience to all couples.
The Clinic “GENESIS ATHENS” incorporates an endoscopy department and a microbiological-biochemical laboratory, with state-of-the-art equipment capable of delivering almost all test results on the same day, within only a few hours. Our microbiological laboratory stands out for delivering reliable and fast results.
As part of our direct, sensitised, appropriate and customised approach to treatments for our patients, we provide integrated one-day clinic healthcare services with 35 modern infirmary beds, highly specialised scientific staff, fully functional, comfortable and safe facilities in combination with the most advanced information technology systems for medical file management.
This potential can be reached only in a perfectly organized, friendly environment. This is why our Clinic is housed in a recently-constructed building, simply and plainly decorated, with one- to five-bed rooms equipped with modern communication systems, TVs and computers. Our premises are protected and covered by CCTV and a security service. Finally, our Clinic has a protected, privately-owned underground car parking area. The “GENESIS ATHENS” Clinic is unique, and we are here to solve any health problem within the scope of our services.
