The aim of the special reproductive medicine unit at “GENESIS ATHENS” is to provide medical assistance to individuals and couples with fertility problems. For this purpose, we have set up a team composed of top medical scientists and biologists, all of trained in medically-assisted human reproduction in Greece and abroad, as well as an embryology laboratory, with high-quality equipment and an ΙSO 9001:2000 accreditation.
Our mission is to successfully manage any specific problem of the couples that come to us for help. To this end, we constantly keep up with any new developments in methods, techniques, medical and laboratory equipment, and medications. We use many different procedures such as intrauterine insemination and in vitro fertilization (homologous or heterologous), embryo cryopreservation, donation of genetic material (eggs, spermatozoa and embryos), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), gamete and zygote intrafallopian transfer, gestational surrogacy, post-modern artificial insemination and preimplantation genetic diagnosis to identify specific genetic diseases.
Our Clinic has made a name for itself in the field of medically-assisted human reproduction by performing ground-breaking in vitro techniques, such as blastocyst transfer, in compliance with the current legal framework, and approaches each patient’s problem in a sensitive and individualized manner, with highly qualified medical and general scientific staff.
